Born in Buenos Aires in 1979, Gonzalo Blaya is a producer, musician, and DJ whose work traces an invisible line between darkness, sonic elegance, and a futuristic pulse that defies convention. An artist who navigates the alchemy between gloom, sophistication, and sonic modernity, inhabiting the hidden margins of the local underground. His work proposes a journey into the unknown, where rhythm and shadows merge into a single frequency. Blaya combines the emotional rawness of dark disco with the precision of contemporary techno and the raw sensibility of electro.

For Blaya, the focus transcends the tools; he is interested in the soul that resonates behind the sound. His technique is a mystery that emerges from pure experimentation and visceral intuition. His relationship with electronic music, forged in the vibrant countercultural scene of the 90s, fuses the rebellious essence of punk and new wave with the emotional sophistication of synthesized sounds, later refined by the influence of post-punk and dark wave.

For one of his most recent releases, he features on the Argentinian label Logia Records, a platform that has shown one of the best evolutions in curation and sound over the years. The EP is titled «Deca Dance» and is composed of two original tracks plus two powerful remixes.

The track «Malware» takes its name from the malicious software designed to infiltrate and cause damage. In the sound of the eponymous track, this analogy manifests as brutal energy, from start to finish, infected with electricity and an unparalleled attitude. The progressions are constant, the rhythms are energetic, and everything is enveloped in darkness and a decidedly punk attitude. The track is perfect: a rhythmic assault that feels like a sonic infiltration into your system, driving the dance floor to the edge of delirium.
