Based in Malta, Adrian Gambin has curated and directed Systolic since 2016, establishing the label as a key platform for hypnotic techno, deep techno, ambient, and groove-driven sounds. To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Systolic presents a series of special releases carefully aligned with the label’s deep and immersive identity.

Within this commemorative series comes the second release, featuring Alahia, also known as Immunity, a DJ and producer from Medellín, Colombia. Immunity describes her sound as a fusion of sensuality and hypnotism, built around deep and dark tones designed to stimulate both the ear and the mind, forging a direct emotional connection through music.

The EP Onyx Ark marks a new chapter in her artistic path, distilling the pressure of raw techno into a dense, progressive, and finely restrained work. Throughout the release, cavernous low-end, winding synth tension, and controlled industrial textures converge to create a sound that feels both ritualistic and mechanical, introspective yet physical.

The track Eden feels like the place its name evokes, though wrapped in raw, deep, and hypnotic atmospheres. Initially restrained, the sound unfolds patiently and fluidly across the entire piece. With precise peaks, the texture grows richer and more complex, reaching deltas that brush against near silence. In its final synthesis, the track ascends toward the ethereal and ineffable, carried by latent, threatening pulses that ultimately seal a track that is both powerful and unforgettable.
