Legend has it that they condensed into seeds and acquired a dark power as they fed on fertile soil; growing exuberantly among hard rocks, farmers named them aconites. This story serves as the underlying premise for London-based label Aconito Records.

The imprint returns with the second chapter of its digital series, drawing inspiration from the myth of those seeds harnessing strength from the ground to thrive in darkness. For this release, nAX_Acid and Ben-Ur join forces to explore the gap where 303 pressure and atmospheric techno converge: a territory shaped by raw acid lines, dense textures, and hypnotic rhythms.

Across three tracks, the EP moves between shadow and intensity through driving beats, evolving soundscapes, and flashes of controlled chaos. Experimentation meets surgical precision via pulsing synths that slice through dark atmospheres, distorted textures, and a restless drive engineered for pitch-black rooms and heavy sound systems.

A psychopomp is a mythical entity tasked with guiding newly departed souls into the afterlife—not to judge, but to ensure safe passage. The track «Psychopomp» mirrors this myth and the release’s core narrative, hovering in the duality between shade and intensity, this realm and the next.
