Inspired by white label culture and the raw aesthetic of underground raves, the imprint focuses its catalog on high-impact rhythm and analog drive, engineered strictly for the dancefloor.
The DirtBirdz, a Dublin-based DJ and production duo formed by David Byrne and Ian Ball, embody the raw drive of the Irish circuit with over two decades behind the decks. Renowned for four-deck sets, seamless mixing, and live sampling, their sound bridges house, hardgroove, disco, and high-tempo techno, keeping the 90s rave spirit alive. Alongside Simon Foran, Angel Currao, and Declan Coleman, the duo drives the launch of WYTE LBL to showcase both Irish and international underground talent.
To launch the catalog, The DirtBirdz deliver the label’s debut release, Warcrimes—a five-track EP exploring contemporary techno that sets a bold aesthetic direction for the project.
