FRGMNTS returns with CONDUIT: RESHAPE, a three-track collaboration between Saša Delimar and Neural Scape. The connection between the two artists is already familiar territory for Club Furies: we have previously featured Delimar through his “Lacrimosa Edit” and Neural Scape with “Magma,” and this new release brings both sides together for a shared project built around techno, breakbeat and melodic elements.
The process behind the EP was remarkably straightforward. Delimar and Neural Scape completed the three tracks across only a few sessions, working through a simple back-and-forth where one artist would start an idea and the other would take it somewhere else. Their styles found common ground naturally, allowing CONDUIT: RESHAPE to develop without an overly complicated production process. The result is a concise record where techno and breakbeat meet melodic textures, with each track taking a slightly different route through the same collaborative space.
For this Club Furies Signal, we focus on “Shape,” the closing track of the EP. It captures the collaborative logic behind the release particularly well, bringing together the rhythmic drive of techno and the looser movement of breakbeat while keeping melody present throughout. There is a sense of constant transformation in the track, as if its elements are being reshaped while the groove continues underneath. The result feels fluid and focused, with enough rhythmic detail to keep the track moving without losing sight of its melodic side.
“Shape” closes CONDUIT: RESHAPE with a fitting sense of continuity. The title of the track speaks to the process behind the entire EP: ideas passed between two producers, altered along the way and eventually becoming something shared.
