DARKDISCO.ORG returns from Berlin, Germany, continuing to push a dark electronic sound infused with disco vibrations and a distinctly nocturnal aesthetic. For this release, the label introduces Michele Sfregola, better known as SFRMHL, a producer from Barletta, Italy, with Night Fatale, an EP featuring three original tracks and five remixes. Among them is a remix by Kenny Campbell, who humorously describes himself as a good DJ, a mediocre producer and a terrible dancer, now focused on hardcore, drum & bass and jungle blends, while —in his own words— “techno will remain for the archive.”

Dazzling Night delivers the rhythm, intensity and atmosphere that define dark electronic music at its best: taciturn, mysterious, electric, threatening and restrained. In contrast, Kenny Campbell’s remix, titled Dark Night, explores a more aggressive edge of the same sonic territory — bold, fierce, voracious, agile and sharply cutting.

Over just more than five minutes, the track builds a dense texture of carefully sculpted sonic mountain ranges, where multiple layers intertwine to form nearly impenetrable threats. The continuous, driving rhythm pushes toward a brutal delirium that plunges everything into darkness. Subtle rises and drops in intensity add complexity to the structure, ultimately giving way to vocals that carry the listener beyond the physical limits of the dancefloor.
