Espectro A presents Aurora Echoes, a new EP produced by Albanian artist House Of Progon. The record unfolds as an introspective journey through light, memory, and resonance, evoking the imagery of distant reflections moving across the horizon. Merging organic textures, hypnotic rhythms, and immersive atmospheres, the work builds a sonic experience defined by emotional sensitivity and spatial depth.
House Of Progon is the project of Jonid Koritari, focused on the exploration of deep hypnotic techno. Following his 2005 graduation from the Academy European Disc Jockey in Milan, the artist returned to Tirana to become a key figure in the Albanian electronic circuit, establishing the Deejay Academy Albania and co-founding the Beatnik Community collective, alongside organizing pivotal local events and Boiler Room showcases.
With over two decades in the scene—initially marked by progressive house and techno under the aliases DJ Jonko and Project 22—Koritari has contributed to major cultural initiatives such as Imago Mundi, the Venice Biennale, and Hapesira 0. His long-standing passion for vinyl and drive to expand turntable culture in Albania have been decisive in building a DJ community dedicated to physical formats, analog immersion, and record collecting.
With this release, House Of Progon joins Espectro A’s editorial vision: framing electronic music not merely as a rhythmic framework for the club, but as a realm for contemplation, human connection, and inner movement. The EP includes two reinterpretations that broaden its core narrative. Spanish producer emesh contributes an elegant, enveloping take that expands the emotional landscape of the original cut, while Pattrn closes the release with a remix injecting movement, contrast, and sonic density. With Aurora Echoes, Espectro A solidifies a discography guided by emotion, identity, and intent, building a platform where sound operates as memory and shared experience.
Pattrn approaches music production as an act of sonic pottery: a tactile, organic, and deliberate craft. His work sits at the intersection of deep hypnotic techno and experimental ambient design, developing a language where evolving textures, mutating rhythms, and high-precision acoustic architecture induce a shifted perception of time.
The original mix of «Aurora Echoes» runs through depths tailored to the identity of both artist and imprint. Meanwhile, the Belgian producer’s remix sharpens and strips down the source material with fine-drawn precision, true to his signature style. This approach renders the emotional core of the original piece subtle yet paradoxically more potent. Riding a tempo that accelerates along rails without disrupting the foundational surface, the pulse quickens as the mind drifts into open waters.
