Club Furies

AMNL PRNT is an artistic sound project that takes shape within the walls of Paulina Olea‘s home studio. A space that witnesses the fusion of digital instruments, synthesizers, and analog machines that come to life at night. From everyday experiences and emotions, Paulina’s creativity transforms her abstract thoughts and feelings into a captivating musical expression that offers a glimpse into her world.

This is now materialized in her new work, which is presented by ineffable, one of our favorite projects. It is an extended play that bears his name. It is a tribute to the tastes and influences that make up Paulina’s usual soundscape. A mix of sounds and genres, interwoven by the need to share her abstract mind with the world. The lyrics, emanating from emotional experiences, that she has awake or asleep, contribute to the multifaceted nature of AMNL PRNT.

This EP, apart from being a collection of songs, is a journey through Paulina Olea‘s expressive mind. The combination of digital precision, analog warmth, and a wide range of influences creates a singular listening experience that invites the audience into the artist’s intimate world. Sueño is the sound that opens us to Paulina’s artistic universe.

Composed from the sounds of his first analog synthesizer, a Moog Subsequent 37, in the introduction, the track creates the ambiance of dreams, those where reality blurs into fantasies and fulfilling desires. A dream becomes a dreamlike composition by recording layers upon layers with different settings of the synthesizer. This models the reality of dreams, which emerge in layers of multiple memories and desires.

The song in sum reflects a hazy dream in which Paulina finds herself becoming air, in the company of an ethereal being. It is a well-defined sound, with a careful sound design, which manages to decouple real realities into fictitious realities. An artistic work that fulfills its purpose: ego has experienced it and merged with its sound.
