Club Furies

The artistic sound platform Illegal Alien Records presents again KRISSFA. Fabián López, also known as KRISSFA, is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started studying at Arjaus Academy in 2018 to fully immerse himself in electronic music after several years in the local underground scene. His sets feature deep, hypnotic, and energetic sounds. His musical selection is versatile, expanding his sonic palette towards the dancefloor. At the end of 2020, he became part of the renowned Under Club in Buenos Aires. He is currently developing his career as a producer, having released music on labels such as Dynamic Reflection and Analog Solutions, among others.

Now, after his contribution to the tenth edition compilation Deported Series Various Artists, the artist from Buenos Aires makes his debut on the Mexican label with an extended play of six tracks called Transcendent Echoes. This release shows again the artist talent. The title of this work evokes reminiscences of philosophy, as well as the superb scope of a thing. If we talk about that quality being attributed to echoes, these are enhanced. Now, the echoes we can talk about are those of this artist’s sound.

Frenzy, whirlwind, hysteria, or madness suffer a modular effect in the last track of this work, at least in the title. Remember that modular refers to the modification of the factors involved in a process to obtain different results; in sound, to the variation of the qualities of sound for harmonic purposes. The echo is the electromagnetic wave reflected or returned in such a way that it is perceived as different from the one originally emitted.

The sound of Modular Frenzy is the alteration of an echo in such a way that it reaches madness and frenzy. However, one must be patient, because KRISSFA‘s sound design does so progressively, with frenetic peaks amidst hypnotic lulls. And between valleys of such calm and delirious demands, sonic whirlwinds are created that shape fine, well-polished, sharp, and brilliant atmospheres and ambiances. A track that perfectly closes this work, which manages to take its sonic echoes to transcendent places.
