Living Techno welcomes Luis Mendizabal back with The great aCiD., a four-track digital release built around a compact journey through rhythm, atmosphere and acidic tension. Mendizabal has already crossed paths with Club Furies through our 2024 premiere of “Adma,” also released on Living Techno, and this new record continues that connection with a release that feels equally focused on groove, texture and movement.
The EP is structured almost like a short nocturnal passage. “The great Intro.” opens the door with a gradual introduction, leading into the central “The great aCiD.” before “Smke dat Cigarrete” extends the journey and “The great Outro.” brings it to a close. Written and produced entirely by Mendizabal, with artwork and design also created by the artist, the release carries a distinctly self-contained character, where the musical and visual sides emerge from the same creative process.
At the center of the release is “The great aCiD.”, the track featured in this Club Furies Signal.
