LoveZone Records is a digital record label. Its goal is to promote talented artists from all currents of the electronic scene. The label’s focus ranges from ambient and deep to dub and minimal house. The label’s philosophy revolves around music, travel, and personal development.
ToShKa has a broad musical openness. She loves experimenting with diverse musical genres. These genres range from electronic music and downtempo to organic and melodic techno, minimal, and other electronic styles. She has a chameleonic ability. She naturally adapts her musical selection to any environment while maintaining her own artistic identity. Her sets feature a refined selection of tracks, emotional depth, and an elegant, enveloping sound.
LoveZone Records is pleased to present ToShKa with “Kohaku & Tanago”, a two-track EP. The EP unfolds at the crossroads between electronic music and IDM. Electronic textures, organic details, and contemplative atmospheres come together there. “Kohaku” and “Tanago” unfold as two movements within the same landscape. They are two complementary pieces shaped by a search for texture, depth, and movement. Each track develops its own identity across delicate pulses, acoustic elements, and more abstract sonic details. Each track also contributes to a shared narrative.
Our premiere for this release is “Kohaku.” The track unfolds phenomenally in perennial temperate coordinates. Those coordinates summon fresh, cold sea breezes. The sound molds a uniform whole over six minutes. That whole brushes against the ethereal, the idyllic, and the absolute. It carries that quality of anything that appears transcendental. The track arrives there categorically and spectacularly.
The EP draws inspiration from an aesthetic that is both refined and sensitive. It plays with contrasts. These contrasts include softness and tension, transparency and density, stillness, and transformation. ToShKa offers an immersive, organic, and cinematic experience with “Kohaku & Tanago.” It is a journey in two chapters.
