Supporting the local scene is not a trend for Sengiley Recordings, but a conscious statement. When PAV presented L’élan Vital, the release immediately found its place within that vision: five tracks shaped around aggressive electro, pulsating body music and a distinctly futuristic electronic aesthetic. Rather than looking backward for the sake of nostalgia, the EP draws from the language of 90s electronic music and pushes it through a contemporary lens, where analog hardware, dense drum machines and characterful synthesizers become tools for something very much rooted in the present.
Across L’élan Vital, PAV builds a world of thick basslines, sharp percussion and unexpected turns, balancing raw energy with a precise sense of control. The result is an EP that feels compressed and kinetic, with each element contributing to its physical momentum. There is a clear affection for the machines behind the music, but the record never treats them as museum pieces.
