Sander Zabicki is a rising figure in the world of DJing and electronic music production. Known for his ability to fuse hypnotic techno with deeply emotional nuances, Zabicki has quickly carved out a distinctive place in the scene. His music reflects a deep knowledge of the genre’s roots while pushing boundaries with innovative sound design and atmosphere.
As an artist, Zabicki draws inspiration from the underground scene to deliver enveloping sonic journeys: dark, energetic and richly textured. With releases on labels as prestigious as Traum Schallplatten and Trapez, his work resonates on dancefloors around the world, connecting with listeners through energy and emotion. His relentless dedication to refining his sound has made him a standout voice in the genre.
Behind the decks, Sander Zabicki brings the same intensity and artistic mastery found in his productions. His DJ sets are meticulously crafted experiences that take the audience on a journey, blending unsettling techno, hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric melodies into an enveloping, emotionally resonant set.
Now, for one of his most recent releases, he arrives on the Spanish label EXP Records with Tangled, a new four-track EP focused strictly on minimalist, forceful and hypnotic techno. The release explores tension, atmosphere and rhythmic precision across four tracks driven by modular synthesis. Tangled is a dark and melancholic composition centered on an envelope designed to create a sense of physical restriction and suspension.
Pressure as transformation is the concept that articulates the release: the force that turns coal into diamond, applied to sound. Under Pressure works as a constant, continuous, perennial becoming, without end. This produces brutal hypnosis and endless, well-defined parallel paths — bright, polished, delicate. It is like the pressure coal needs to become diamond, but through sound: excessive pressure that produces precious jewels. In the sound of this track, however, it takes us to the depths of the universe.
Within Club Furies’ interest in techno as a physical and mental language, Under Pressure stands as a precise, self-assured gesture: restraint that generates intensity.
